Photography for the Queen's Award ceremony for Signposts

July has been a very interesting and rewarding month. There were so many community projects that I took part in. I was extremely happy to have been invited to take photos at the event organised by Signposts - a charity from Luton that supports people who are homeless. The team and guests gathered in the town centre to celebrate this wonderful occasion.

There were around 300 people who came along not only to try the celebratory cake and cupcakes, but also to learn more about the charity and enjoy the entertainment by NGYT and a poem performed by Southfield Primary School pupils.

There were a few moving speeches about the history of the charity and the impact it had on the community.

Signposts team have worked very hard over the years and have reshaped the town by taking part in so many community projects. The official part of the event was filled with smiles and applause from the audience.

It was amazing to be a part of this event. It was so easy to capture people smiling as everyone knew it was a special day. I added a few more photos from the event below, please take a look!
