Photography for East Harpenden Gardening Club
Some of you may know that I am a keen gardener. I got myself an allotment near home and I have managed to grow some vegetables and flowers this year. The club looks after a few sites in Harpenden and after a conversation with a few members, we decided to capture the plots.
I have also worked on their brand new website which features the photographs and films made by me - you can see it here!
I took hundreds of photos featuring the plots people are working on. I did my best to arrange shoots during the golden hour to get the best out of the natural lighting.
There are six sites that I visited and I tried to take images that could be purposeful when put on the website. For instance, a shot of a shed, a lock and water tap are there so they could sit next to the articles that speak about security, storage and watering.
