Fashion photoshoot in Palermo

Back in 2017 I was invited to take photos for fashion designer Julia, a good friend of mine. She organised a shoot in Palermo, Italy. I thought the idea was great and packed my gear.

We had a goal. We had one day to take photos of approximately ten outfits. As we travelled from one location to the other, we had maximum 30min to change and take photos of each dress. If you have taken photos before, you’ll understand that this is very little time - the day was stressful and really really hot.

The last location was my favourite. We managed to reach the port by sunset. The sun rays touched Christina’s (model’s) hair before hiding behind the mountain. We were so lucky and I absolutely loved the surroundings and the atmosphere. As Christina was posing near water, a local fisherman kept asking for her name, and I accidentally spoiled it. Christina started laughing and I kept on shooting. Below you can see this moment - keep on scrolling right!

To wrap up, we asked another local person to take a photo of all of us (Julia, Christina and me) for memory. The photos turned out to be quite funny and I am totally happy with them haha!

After we finished the shoot, we went to a restaurant and had a meal. It was one of the most memorable days in the last couple of years and I am extremely thankful for this opportunity.
